When Hadramaveth Desert debuted on The Genshin effect Version 3.4, it brings with it a new location to explore and a new World Boss: Setekh Wenut. Setekh Wenut is important for players with Alhaitham, as he is the only character at the time of writing that needs Setekh Wenut’s Second. So where can you find Setekh Wenut in The Genshin effect?
It’s actually quite easy. One of the main difficulties when exploring the Sumeru desert region is the many teleportation points and important sites located underground. The Setekh Wenut location is also technically underground, but like Regisvines in Mondstadt, there’s an easy way to reach it. The teleport to the right of the Passage of Ghouls is where you can find Setekh Wenut.
This teleportation point is on the ground. As soon as you access it, you can run north and see a hole in the ground. When you drop in, you can find Setekh Wenut. There should be a small group of Mushrooms hanging around nearby that you can use as a waypoint. Also, there is a lot of Sand Grease Pupa in the cave where Setekh Wenut is staying. They are also in tunnels leading in and out of the area. So in general this is a great place to breed Pupae or Pseudopistils. For example, those who are building Alhaitham will likely spend a lot of time here.
Setekh Wenut is also not a difficult boss. You can fight it the same way you fight Regisvines. I recommend using strong DPS or Nuke characters to make the most of the moment when Setekh Wenut emerges from the sand. Because it can float in the air, a Bow character is much more useful than other weapons. You should also avoid using Anemo DPS characters, as Setekh Wenut has high Anemo RES and you won’t be able to paralyze it. To paralyze Setekh Wenut, you must destroy his Wind Bite with an Elemental that can react to Anemo.
