I took a look at my wardrobe last week to start planning the things I want to buy for the upcoming warm season. I love this kind of inventory before spring and fall, then intentionally added some updates to my wardrobe. When I’m deciding what to buy for spring, a few standout pieces of clothing and accessories are the main focus. With some simple styling tweaks, all the pieces I’ve selected enhance the wardrobe staples I already own.
Today I’m sharing the clothes and accessories that I recently added to my wardrobe for the upcoming spring (and summer) months!

Dresses
My trend when it comes to spring and summer clothing is always towards dresses because it’s a one-off and finished piece. I wanted to find some silhouettes and colors that were new to me, and the sections below represent exactly that.

Short
I spent last summer trying to find shorts that I liked had a longer length, which is great for running with the kids and generally active during the warmer months. I immediately bought two pairs from H&M this spring, because I knew they would sell out.

Sandal

Sunglasses
I wanted to find a few pairs of sunglasses in new eye shapes and colors with me this year and they all fit the bill!

Accessory
I still love the big headbands and bucket hats. I recently bought one to wear this spring and summer, and I want to get some great scrunchies Like this one also!
