Over five years ago, we took the opportunity to start a new studio and build a new IP from scratch. Recalling our favorite time with games, we founded Firewalk Studios with the idea of making those moments memorable – those must-have, great times shared with the people who love them. other. Our goal is to bring those shared moments of joy to players around the world.
Building a new studio on a grand scale is an incredibly exciting and relentlessly difficult task. Luckily, we’ve been supported by great partners over the years – MaybeMonsters helped us accelerate our studio setup and Sony supported our creative vision and project. right from the start.
We’ve brought together some of the industry’s most inspired talent to deliver awe-inspiring new worlds and experiences with great core gameplay. The excitement of building something new for players fueled our team and partners, and we tried it out every day.
Today, we’re taking the next natural step and joining PlayStation Studios. We’ve worked closely with Hermen and the very talented team at PlayStation for many years, helping to make our new game even better. Joining PlayStation Studios is officially being part of the family that has produced many of the most popular games of our time, and we’re honored.
We want to thank everyone who has supported us along the way and who looks forward to our future. It’s been an incredible journey so far and we can’t wait for the next chapter in this adventure.
