At first, you might think this dog is a frail old woman, but it is a puppy that is suffering from a severe illness and is starving to death.
To our surprise, she greeted her rescuers with the trust and affection of someone who is not defeated, but vital to the will to live. We rushed her into treatment, knowing that in this desperate state her immune system was very low and at any moment she could get worse. Her innocent eyes gazed at her caregivers with so much hope from the very first moments on our treatment table in the hospital. And luckily, her appetite was great and she ate it right away.
We named her Tulip and watched with delight as her health improved day by day and a puppy appeared where an old woman limped.
