Biker and her kids are supporting young women by riding around the world

People love to travel with their pets. You can fly with your dog, strap them to the backseat of your car, and even drag them behind you in a trailer while you ride your bike. But it’s not every day you see a 75-pound German Shepherd sharing a motorcycle seat with their mother.

Almost everyone who crosses them does double.

Jess Stone, a Canadian-born content creator and businesswoman, travels the world on her motorcycle donate $100K to a global nonprofit girl up. It’s just, she didn’t do it alone. In fact, she’s sharing a chair with her 75-pound German Shepherd, named Moxie.

The couple started their epic adventure last March and have been together for 10 amazing months. Greg, Jess’s husband, rides behind, while Jess and Moxie lead.

“I am always ahead. I want to get over the obstacles first,” says Jess.

That’s really after the end of an eight months On a long motorcycle trip together, where they traveled from North to South America, Moxie became a full-fledged member of their family. They had just returned from a trip and were living in Guatemala at the time. It’s lightning love.

Later, when they adopted her, they agreed that traveling without Moxie simply wasn’t an option. But because Jess was finally comfortable on her bike, they didn’t want to add a trailer or extra box. That would change her entire riding experience.

So they did everything they could to get Moxie on their motorcycle touring adventure. Jess signed up for off-road riding lessons and they even went to the length of the design Cockpit Moto K9a dog cart that they make in Guatemala.

“People always ask how long it takes to teach your dog how to ride. Honestly, Moxie took the whole weekend. It took me longer to feel comfortable carrying that much weight in the back, because I’ve never been with a passenger,” Jess said.

They originally planned to travel from Guatemala to the Arctic Ocean and then across to Canada, where they would fly to Spain and then to Africa. But because of the recent economic impact and significant increase in travel costs, they were forced to re-imagine their route.

In the end, they chose to travel “end-to-end and top-to-bottom,” and will travel from Guatemala to Mexico, and then to the United States and Canada. From there, they would proceed to the Arctic Ocean. They will then head to the top of North America, before turning around and heading back to South America.

How can that be safe for Moxie?
