With so many teams having players with injuries or health and safety protocols, the league has postponed games as it tries to fend off any suspensions of the season. Once the Warriors game was postponed, Green let the NBA down with his decision.
“How do you continue to cancel the game when you’ve made the rules to prevent this from happening? Isn’t that the competitive advantage of the other teams? The ones we didn’t have due to the protocol list didn’t play a role in Tuesday’s loss? Take a side but don’t cross the fence,” he wrote.

His main opinion seems to be that the Warriors are forced to play without some of their best players when they face the Nuggets in San Francisco on Tuesday and the Nuggets have “snagged a win” against them. .

His last tweet on the matter pointed out that he’s concerned that the backlog of games will affect the Warriors at the end of the season, saying it will add to their season, further benefiting Denver.
On Thursday, the Nuggets reportedly placed head coach Mike Malone, two assistant coaches and players Jeff Green, Zeke Nnaji and Bones Hyland into the NBA’s health and safety protocols, according to the NBA. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Denver also has concerns about injuries to a number of players including Monte Morris, Aaron Gordon, Austin Rivers and Vlatko Cancar.
