Nintendo has filed two new trademarks

It’s been quite a while Exciting week on the Nintendo frontand now to add to this, it has been discovered that some new trademarks were recently registered by the video game giant in Australia.

As Vooks highlights, the trademark was registered for the 2015 Wii U title Kirby and the rainbow paintbrush (Kirby and the rainbow curse) and the 2015 3DS release Fullblox (also known as Stretch).

The source notes that the original trademarks for these games “still exist,” so this may not be just a “simple facelift.”

Of course, when it comes to video game trademarks, there’s no guarantee that the games featured in the filing will necessarily be revived. It may be business as usual for Nintendo, but if we hear of any developments, we’ll let you know.
