Keeneland cataloged seven horses — including millionaires and 1st place winners Math Wizard —In the latest addition to the All Ages Horse Sale in January 2022, which will be held January 10-13. Additionally, the final sale of the opening session will be seasonal. no guarantee in 2022 for this year’s top first crop, Gunman , will be auctioned off to raise money for relief efforts for those affected by the recent catastrophic tornado in Western Kentucky.
This season was donated by Gun Runner co-owners, Three Chimneys Ranch, stallion head, and Ron Winchell.

The January 12 sale item is Math Wizard, a 5-year-old son of Algorithms , who won the 2019 Pennsylvania Derby (G1), finished second in the 2019 Ohio Derby (G3) and the 2020 Monmouth Cup (G3) and finished third in the 2019 Indiana Derby (G3). The $1,183,840 earner was deposited by the Taylor Made Sales Agency, the dealer, and cataloged as a racing or stallion prospect.
Additional additions to the January Sale, listed for the first three days of the auction, are:
- Benissimo, a 2 year old Pioneerof Nile pony consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for Juddmonte. From the family of a 1st grader Sightseek and Tates Creek , he was cataloged as a racing or stallion prospect.
- Colorful Sense, a 5-year-old daughter of Street Sense in pony to Munnings , deposited by Hunter Valley Farm, agent. Winner of the deposit amount Act of Revolution , in Boston Harbor, she is the half-sister of the winners Night party and United States Act .
- Rags to Brags, a 6 year old mare by Medaglia d’Oro in pony to American pharoah . Authorized by Four Star Sales, dealer, she comes from 2007’s product family Better than honor .
- Speed Soul , 5-year-old multi-stakes winner by Super Speedy in pony to Spinning candy . She was consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.
- Verbier, a 2-year-old pony from Arrogate and in the family of many high school winners Evening Pearl consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for Juddmonte. He was cataloged as a racing or stallion prospect.
- Warrior’s Battle, a 2-year-old daughter of Khozan who scored his first career win on December 5 at Oaklawn Park when she wins 7 1/4 length. Half-sister with a millionaire’s father and won a high school prize Warrior’s Charge , she is cataloged as a racing prospect or broodmare and consigned by ELiTE, the dealer.
With these latest additions and the addition of the Gun Runner supply, the January Sale catalog includes a total of 1,626 lots.
