Volvo’s largest certified damage repair center in Malaysia opens in Juru, Penang – 40,000 sf, by iRoll Ipoh

Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) has opened the largest Volvo Car Damage Repair Center in Malaysia. Operated by iRoll Ipoh and located in Juru, Penang, 40,000 sq.ft. the facility is equipped with ‘modern systems adapted to the latest green technology’.

Juru was chosen due to its strategic location in the northern region and proximity to major highways. VCM says that the center’s modern and functional design complements the Volvo brand’s Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic.

The Car-O-Liner is a standout. The powerful and precise chassis and body alignment system enables technicians to detect any damage, even those that are invisible to the naked eye. With the Car-O-Liner, the bodywork of a damaged car can be reassembled to factory standards with precision, speed and safety, VCM says.

The center also has a PIVAB mixing room and an expanded spray booth. The PIVAB mixing room provides technicians with a controlled atmosphere to mix paint accurately and consistently, while the PIVAB extended spray chamber removes smoke and particles from the air, providing space healthier and safer for employees.
