Volkswagen ID.7 EV flagship fastback with next-generation 286 PS powertrain, range up to 700 km WLTP

The ID.7’s cabin also features an electronically dimmable panoramic sunroof, and this can provide the ability to switch between transparent and opaque settings via touch controls; this can also be operated using voice control powered by the new IDA voice command assistant.

The optional front seat specification brings a Volkswagen first – the adaptive Climatronic, which offers cooling and heating functions as well as a drying function; handy for those who get caught in the rain, for example. Assisted parking is also possible with ID.7. One of these integrates a memory function for up to 50 meters, where the driver can sit still inside the vehicle or they can monitor the parking sequence from outside the vehicle using a smartphone app.

Production of the ID.7 will take place at the Volkswagen plant in Emden, Germany for the European and North American markets, while those for the China market will be produced locally in China.

The Volkswagen ID.7 will hit the market in the fall of 2023 in Europe and China, while North America will receive the ID.7 in 2024.
