Vietnamese carmaker VinFast has announced that it will begin shipping its most affordable all-electric model, the VF5, was first revealed last year. The VF5 Plus, initially referred to internally as VFe32, is available to domestic consumers with prices starting from VND 458 million (RM87,000).
The automaker said that when it opened the order book for the VF 5 Plus last December, it received more than 3,000 pre-orders within nine hours, with 80% of these already converted to pre-orders. . It added that it is “targeting the most consumers” with this new base model.
