Video: ‘Spirit of Altai’ reveals aerial beauty of Siberia, as captured with DJI Air 2S: Digital Photography Review
Award-winning filmmaker and photographer Vadim Sherbakov has shown us the vast beauty of Western Siberia with his latest short film ‘Spirit of Altai.’ It was shot entirely on a DJI Air 2S drone. ‘Spirit of Altai is a drone short film that takes you into the (beauty) of that area, showcasing the breathtaking nature that seems almost prehistoric and unspoiled. From the opening scenery of autumn in full bloom to the first snow of the season, from jade-green rivers to views in the clouds, – this two-minute film takes you on an airborne journey through nature beautiful Altai,’ Sherbakov told DPReview.
Vadim also revealed that he used a variety of PolarPro ND (neutral density) filters. He is an ambassador for the brand. When a YouTube user asked how to achieve this kind of cinematic effect with consumer-grade drone footage, he said that he often underexposed the footage while shooting, Recorded in D-Log and post-processed using DaVince Resolve 17 software.
