Versatile and effective set of two lenses for landscape photography
The beauty of landscape photography is that there are so many different ways to capture the same scene. Therefore, it’s nice to have options to cover a whole range of situations, but that also needs to be balanced by examining the large amount you’re hiking. This great video discusses a versatile set of two lenses that won’t cost you much or worry.
Coming to you from Mike SmithThis great video discusses a set of two lenses for landscape photography: Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD And Tamron 50-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD. I really think photographers should consider carrying a telephoto lens in addition to a wide zoom lens. The latter is the standard tool of choice for landscape work, but a telephoto lens can help you pick out interesting isolated elements and create more abstract images, allowing you to capture more photos in one scene, which can be quite useful if you have to walk a long distance to get to a place. Check out the video above for the full recap from Smith.
