NIS America announced that Grim Grimoire AgainEnhanced release of Vanillaware’s 2007 RTS game GrimGrimoire, will launch on Switch in the West on April 4 in North America and April 7 in Europe.
First announced in April of this year, GrimGrmoire OnceMore retains the gameplay of the original PS2 release while adding a number of brand new features to help appeal to budding wizards who have never played. this game before. If you picked up 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim on Switch earlier this year, GrimGrimoire could be your next foray into Vanillaware’s stunning back-end catalog.
On the additional side, Grand Magic is a brand new system that allows you to use extremely powerful moves during combat. There is also a new skill tree that can be upgraded by completing optional quests during battles. Most importantly, a Fast Forward mode has also been added to OnceMore, helping to speed those strategic battles up, although if you really want to jump into the fray you can also play on Hard mode.

Past and present
Like Grim Grimoire has been given new life on modern consoles, so is the game’s heroine, Lillet Blan. After enrolling at the prestigious Silver Star Tower, a magical academy where only the most talented mages are invited to attend, Lillet Blan awakens to discover that tragedy has befallen the tower. Before she can discover the cause of the conflict, Lillet is suddenly transported back in time as the clock strikes midnight, to the day she arrives at school for the first time. Now she must relive the past five days in hopes of stopping the terrible event and uncovering the truth of the Silver Star Tower.
Virtual meets strategy
With a highly anticipated arrival on PS4™, PS5™. and Nintendo Switch™, Grim Grimoire Again remains true to the core gameplay of the original release. Players will engage in real-time strategic combat by summoning summoned beasts to battle enemies such as demons, spirits, and goblins. This is done by infusing one of the four schools of magic in the game: Seduction, Summoning, Witchcraft, and Alchemy, with each of these having their own familiar aspects and attributes. To summon monsters, the player must use magic books called Grimoires to summon Runes, and as you level up your Grimoires, you will be able to summon stronger monsters. Mastering these fields of magic and using their familiars against certain enemies is the key to victory!
