Since I trusted them with all my heart, I asked famous makeup artists Judi Gabbay and Allison Kaye to give me their professional advice on vampire skin. ““Vampire skin is a by-product of glass skin,” says Kaye. Personally, I like this trend because I don’t have to buy anything new or spend a lot of money to try it out. I have a full range of both liquid foundation and highlighter, so I can try different combinations to find what I like best. Gabbay also has some advice: “If you’re looking to create vampire skin, you’re going to need some products that you probably already have. The trend calls for liquid shimmer, but I do. I see the use of liquid highlighter. [is] easier to wear. Use your favorite lightweight foundation, mix with liquid highlighter or shimmer. Dab the mixture onto your skin with a damp beauty sponge. The trend calls for ‘Edward Cullen’ shimmer, so you’ll want to accentuate the high points with a shimmer like Mario’s Crystal Reflector Makeup with Quartz ($26).”
