Usyk says Joshua ‘bullied’ his teammates but still respects him
Oleksandr Usyk gave his reaction to Anthony Joshua’s post-fight outburst.
Joshua ended up wrong in a split decision against the Ukrainians on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia.
The pairing rematched the WBA Super, IBF, IBO and WBO world heavyweight titles at the Jeddah Superdome, with the 35-year-old receiving two of three scorecards in the ring.
After the fight, the emotional Joshua –– who apologized –– was furious at the treatment he had received prior to the second match against the Ukrainians.
And Usyk, the undisputed former world champion in the cruiser class, who went 20-0 (13 KOs) after picking WBC Tyson Fury’s champion Recently abolished Ring Magazine title before aiming for a potential £200m showdown with ‘The Gypsy King’, moved to defend his fellow Olympic champion’s actions.

“I find him a bit emotional and likes to bully some of my teammates.
It would be an empty-handed fight which I wouldn’t recommend him to do since most of them are terrible street fighters.
I feel nothing but respect for AJ.”
Joshua was quick, after inexplicable lash out after the aftermath upon suffering his third defeat as a professional, to apologize for his actions, explaining that he was upset and “in war mode”.
Usyk took to the mic after beating Joshua to cast doubt on the retirement of said Fury, the only real estate holder in the sport’s top division that doesn’t belong to Usyk, but was warned by the bridge 34-year-old player that fights for all belts won’t be cheap.
