US Coast Guard released dramatic scene of a fisherman being loaded onto a helicopter after being bitten on the arm by a shark.
The Miami Coast Guard was contacted by the crew of the “engine ship Shear Water” on Monday, the agency said in a statement.
The crew reported “a man on board was bitten by a shark while fishing and a tourniquet was placed on the man’s arm to prevent further blood loss”.

A helicopter landed at the scene, near the Bahamas, and removed the 51-year-old man.
The clip released by the coast guard showed the man being squeezed from a moving boat in rough seas, one arm heavily bound.
“This is the best possible outcome for a really scary situation,” speak Sean Connett, U.S. Coast Guard Commanding Officer, District 7, in Miami.
“This individual was fortunate that a crew member was able to assist before the coast guard arrived, which allowed for rapid extraction from the ship.”
