Kolkata Knight Riders put on an all-around performance to beat SunRisers Hyderabad by 54 runs on Saturday at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune in the 61st game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season. 2022 is happening. Andre Russell starred with both bat and ball and as a result he was rated as the Man of the Match. He first went undefeated 49 knockouts to help KKR reach 177/6 in 20 overs. He then went on to hit three hits to limit SKSS/SKTD to 123/8, helping KKR win the competition with 54 runs. With this win, KKR’s hopes of reaching the knockout stages remain.
IPL scorecard 2022
With a win over SunRisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders rose to sixth place on the scoreboard with 12 points while SRH came in at eighth place with 10 points.
Up until now, the Gujarat Titans are the only team to consolidate their place in the knockout round, and they lead the group with 18 points from 12 matches. Lucknow Super Giants are second in the table, followed by Rajasthan Royals who have 14 games from 12. RCB is 4th, with 14 points from 13 games.
Delhi Capitals also have 12 points and they are currently 5th in the standings while Punjab Kings are in 7th place.
The Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians are in the last two places, with eight and six points, respectively.
Orange hat race
Rajasthan Royals opened the scoring Jos Buttler currently an Orange Cap holder with 625 runs. Super Giant Team Captain Lucknow KL Rahul second with 459. Delhi’s capital David Warner came in third, with 427 runs, while Shikhar Dhawan 4th place with 402. Captain RCB Faf du Plessis came in 5th place with 399 runs.
Purple hat race

RCB spinner Wanindu Hasaranga is topping the leaderboard in the Purple Hat race. He’s had 23 hits so far this season, equaling second-placed Rajasthan Royals’ Yuzvendra Chahal.
Kagiso Rabada followed by two wrist spinners in third place, as he has 21 signs to his name. Harshal Patel and Kuldeep in 4th and 5th place respectively.
