Santa Anita Park and Gulfstream Park have announced the following fundraisers for the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund:
Santa Anita Jockeys vs. Holy Angels
A time-honored tradition dating back more than five decades, the 54th annual Santa Anita Jockeys vs. Holy Angels Middle School Charity Basketball Game will be held Monday, Feb. 26, at La Salle High School in nearby Pasadena.
The La Salle High gymnasium will open to the public at 6 p.m. and tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Admission tickets will be available on-site and a $5 donation will generate proceeds to the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund (PDJF) and Holy Angels athletics.
A distinguished group of Hall of Fame jockeys will be on-hand beginning at 6:30 p.m. to sign posters and other memorabilia courtside. In years past, retired legends such as Laffit Pincay, Jr., Donald Pierce and Gary Stevens have been available as well as active Hall of Famers such as Kent Desormeaux, Victor Espinoza and Mike Smith.

PDJF Fundraiser Set Feb. 16-18 at Gulfstream
The Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund will hold a fundraiser at Gulfstream Park Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Fans making a $25 donation to the PDJF will have a choice of receiving a pre-signed bobblehead honoring Hall of Famer John Velazquez, two-time defending Championship Meet titlist Irad Ortiz Jr., Jose Ortiz or Tyler Gaffalione.
The fundraiser will be held in the Breezeway all three days 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., when fans may have a chance to meet their favorite jockeys during their downtime on a busy weekend.
