Uncertainty: Climate and Science | Dr. Steven Koonin

Jordan B Peterson

Dr Jordan B Peterson and Dr Steven Koonin discuss IPCC reports – globally sourced research on climate change – and how policymakers derive summaries from these reports to justify their green agenda, despite what the reports actually suggest. They also discuss hunger, obesity, green economy and nuclear future.

Dr. Steven Koonin, University Professor at NYU, has served as Undersecretary of Science in the Department of Energy, Chief Scientist at BP, and Professor and Principal at Caltech. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, Governor of the National Laboratory Lawrence Livermore, a Senior Fellow of Stanford’s Hoover Institute, and a Fellow of the Institute for Defense Analysis. Koonin holds a BA in Physics at Caltech and a Ph. in theoretical physics from MIT. He wrote the recent bestseller “Unstable: What Climate Science Tells Us, What Doesn’t, and Why It Matters.”
