Ulysse Nardin refreshes two of its dive watches with eye-catching blue numerals and a matching blue rubber strap to mark World Oceans Day (June 8).
The new Ulysse Nardin Diver Net Azure.
A model, the Net Azure Diver, adds sparkling blue to the brand’s existing eco-friendly Diver lineup. The latest model in this collection (including the Ocean Race dive watch) uses recycled material inside the case, made from Carbonium (with 40% lower environmental impact than other carbon composites) ), Nylo (polyamide recycled from fishing nets) and 95% recycled steel.
The watchmaker reports that the new model demonstrates a greater use of recycled steel than the first model diver nets concept model by 2020, containing 80% recycled steel.
The watch is still water resistant to 300 meters and sports a blue tint on the dial’s X accent, dial markers, bezel markers, and its rubber strap.
Ulysse Nardin fitted the watch with the UN-118 automatic movement (above), fitted with a silicon balance spring, a DiamonSil escapement wheel and an anchor. Price: $12,600.
The new Ulysse Nardin Diver X Skeleton Azure.
The X Skeleton Azure Diver is a more complicated dive watch. The latest model in the watchmaker’s Diver X Skeleton collection, the skeletonized watch showcases its manufacture UN-372 movement, a flagship Ulysse Nardin in-house automatic movement with set extreme oscillation and silicon escapement wheel, anchor, and balance spring.
The movement is exposed inside a 44mm titanium DLC case, which is water resistant to 200 meters. Its components are visible below the dramatic blue and black X-shaped bridge. The lightweight carbonium sits on the barrel lid at 12 o’clock and covers the unidirectional rotating bezel. Price: $26,400.

Strap: Blue rubber with black “Ulysse Nardin” ceramic element at 6 o’clock. Black ceramic pin buckle.
