Ukraine Craving Craving Human contact Feces from the bushes as woman put down the container
Since the invasion of Ukraine, families have been forced to evacuate, leaving behind countless pets. It is truly devastating. Once beloved pets have mixed with stray animals to form larger herds.
Volunteers from rescue groups are busier than ever providing food and clean water to animals living on the streets.
A Stray Furry Friends volunteer walks down a specific street that she knows has been overrun by hungry baby rats. She put down a box of food and a few dogs ran away. She then moves to another location and then another location. It is clear that these dogs are desperate. We are grateful for her help!
As the kind lady went further down the path, a particular dog darted out of the brush. Her tail wags with such excitement! She was very happy when she saw the woman. It was as if she had longed for human contact for a long time.
The dog is grateful for food, fresh water, and the woman’s touch. It’s too sweet to miss. See for yourself in the video below. Thank you to all the rescue teams who never give up despite the challenges they face.
