BMW reveals new G60 5 Series ICE and Countryman at Malaysia Motor Show 2024 – BMW Motorrad models too
BMW Malaysia has revealed a number of models expected to be available at the upcoming 2024 Malaysia Motor Show next week. in one Instagram Stories posted by the company, we can see silhouettes of these cars, some of which we can clearly recognize (with some editing).
A total of 10 cars are showcased in the 50-second video, with the first two appearing to be the latest U11 X1 and U10 X2. The former is now offered with two all-electric powertrains (iX1) as well as a Single internal combustion engine (ICE) variantwhile the latter is only available with single power source in form iX2.
Moving on, car number three seemed to be the one G60 series standard 5 probably with one STONE (or plug-in hybrid technology), a new technology to our market. The original G60 was debut here in November last year i5 casingThis is the EV version of the 5er, which is clearly car number 4 in the trailer.
As for cars five and six, they can be considered third generation (U25). MINI hometown global launch in September 2023. Distinctive design cues include the crossover’s angular headlights and special C-pillar trim. Countryman is available as a battery electric vehicle (BEV) or with STONEand we can see both at the event.
The remaining four models revealed are BMW Motorrad models and include CE 02 fully electric as well as what appear to be the S 1000 XR, M 1000 XR and F 900 XR. With so many models already revealed, there’s a lot to look forward to from BMW Malaysia, so stay tuned.
