UK Open Odds 2022: Surprising PGA Picks, Golf Predictions Using Analytical Models That Nailed the Masters

Tiger Woods has won three Open Championship titles, perhaps the most memorable of which was at St. Andrews in 2000, when he shot 69 finals and won by the largest margin in tournament history since 1900. In his lead to win, he clamped 66 at the top. second inning with a score of 67 in the first and third days. After deciding not to compete in this year’s US Open, Woods has announced that his focus is on returning to St. Andrews and won the final major hit at the 2022 Open Championship, which begins on Thursday, July 14.

Woods is currently 40-1 to win the latest odds of the 2022 Open Championship at Caesars Sportsbook, but will he recover enough to compete with the 2022 Open championship contenders other? Rory McIlroy was the favorite entering the 2022 Open Championship 9-1 and was followed by an impressive cast of other top 2022 British Open golfers such as Jon Rahm (11- 1), Scottie Scheffler (January 12) and Justin Thomas (January 14). Before locking down your 2022 Open Championship selections or participating in any PGA DFS tournaments on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, make sure see PGA Tour predictions and betting tips from SportsLine’s proven golf model.

The SportsLine-exclusive model, built by DFS expert Mike McClure, has been in full swing since the PGA Tour resumed in June 2020. In fact, it has raised more than $9,500 in bets. the best since that time, nailing one league after another.

McClure’s model includes Thomas in its best bets to win the 2022 PGA championship. That bet hits +1600, and over the entire tournament, McClure’s best bets have returned nearly $800. . At the 2022 Masters, McClure’s model was everything Scheffler won his first major championship at the weekend.

Also, McClure’s best bets include Collin Morikawa winning the 2021 Open Championship outright, even though he’s a 40-1 long shot. The pattern was also all-in on Rahm’s career-first major championship win (10-1) at the US Open 2021. Rahm trailed the lead twice before heading into the weekend, but who the sample still predicts him as the winner.

This same model also nailed a whopping eight majors over the weekend. Anyone who has followed it has noticed huge profits.

Now, with the 2022 British Open golf tournament approaching, SportsLine has simulated the tournament 10,000 times and the results are surprising. Head to SportsLine now to see the expected standings.

Top Predictions for the 2022 Open Championship

A big shock the model is calling for at the 2022 Open Championship: Collin Morikawa (18-1), the defending British Open champion and one of the tournament’s most beloved tennis players, has tripped and didn’t even make the top 5. Morikawa finished fifth at the US Open and Masters, but he was nowhere to be found at the PGA Championship, finishing outside the top 50.

Last year’s Open was still Morikawa’s final victory, and while he started this season with five consecutive top 10 finishes, success has been fleeting ever since. In his last 10 leagues, he has had more shots outside the top 50 (four) than he has in the top 10 (three). His biggest culprit was his short game, which went from average to one of the worst games of the tour. He ranks 180th out of 204 players on the tour in terms of strokes: green space (-307), and that weakness can be magnified at a course with more than 100 bunkers.

Another surprise: Dustin Johnson, a 28-1 long shot, took the title strong. He is a target for anyone looking for a high-paying day. Johnson went on to finish eighth on his LIV Golf debut in 24th at the US Open. Even though his shot wasn’t taken at The Country Club at Brookline, he still competed with his approachable and efficient play from teeing off.

Johnson has had mixed success at the Open Championship since 2016, when he finished in the top 10 twice, but he also missed opportunities in 2018 and finished 50th worse in 2017 and 2019. The last time the tournament was held in St. Andrews , Johnson finished in 49th place, but he was way ahead of the midfield distance by averaging 16.2 yards. In the last two events, he averaged more than 1.5 total strokes from tee to green. See who else to choose here.
