“I’m standing here, Usyk,” WBC and linear heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury told IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight boxer Oleksandr Usyk in a video on Friday, “you and the team.” yours is worth thirty percent. You can take it or you can leave it. Fury’s comments are the latest development in negotiations for an undisputed heavyweight title fight between him and Usyk that have dragged on for so long.
“And if you don’t want to,” Fury continued, “fight Daniel Dubois at the Bronze Box and make a few million dollars. Want to make some real money? Come and fight with the Gypsy King. The undefeated Fury then went on to give Usyk an ultimatum. “But I’ll say,” Fury said, “from today, every day that you linger, mess around, I’ll deduct one percent from thirty percent, so every day I’ll deduct part of it. hundred until you take It.
Fury then concludes his message in classic Tyson Fury style. “And if you don’t take it,” he concluded, “fight Dubois for two million dollars. Does not matter. But how the hell could yuze offer me a deal? Cannot. Tick-tock, tick-tock. Pussy.”

“Even if Usyk got a zero in the fight, it wouldn’t be enough for Tyson,” Sports sky quoted Usyk representative Alex Krassyuk as saying. “Usually, when a boxer doesn’t want to fight, he asks for something that can’t happen, and then it doesn’t happen. That is according to my experience. I’ve been boxing for almost 20 years and that’s something I’ve seen so many times.”
Sure, there are people on social media who are currently arguing that Fury has no interest in fighting Usyk. This seems rather odd, although one never knows. After all, Fury is bigger than Usyk and is a very powerful and skilled fighter in the ring. Then again, perhaps he “sees something” (as Max Schmeling put it) that upsets him. Either way, it would be a real travesty for the sport if Fury and Usyk hadn’t met in the ring for all the symbolic marbles. The fighting fans deserve it, and so do the boxers themselves. Here’s hoping another Spence-Crawford-style disaster doesn’t happen.
