Trump has doubled down on his right to sexually assault people, tells E. Jean Carroll’s attorney, she’s also not his type in frenzied deposition
As you must have heard by now, Donald Trump is currently on trial for rape, and so far the civil lawsuit does not appear to be in his favor. Of course, no one knows which way the jurors might lean — but perhaps, the taped testimony they heard today didn’t adorn him with dazzling light, as it featured the former president. President doubles down on his claim that if you’re “a star,” it’s okay to sexually assault someone—and then insult E. Jean Carrolllawyer look.
Yes, in an astonishing testimony—even for Trump—Carroll’s attorney Roberta Kaplan ask the former president about the scandal Access Hollywood the tape in which he says Billy Bush 2005: “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” adding, “Cat them with the pussy. You can do anything.” After watching the clip, Trump told Kaplan, “Well, historically, that’s true of the stars.” When asked if he stood by those claims — which he wrote as a “locker room joke” in 2016, and later suggested that the tape wasn’t true—Trump replied: ” Well, I guess if you look back millions of years, that’s largely true—not always, but mostly true, unfortunately or fortunately.” That’s right: When asked about his claim that it’s possible to take someone’s genitals without their permission, Trump said — during his presentation about the alleged rape of someone — that it almost 100% true “Unlucky or lucky”!
When asked if he considers himself “a star,” meaning someone who would adopt the vulva grab rule, Trump replied: “I think so, yes.”
Incredibly, this isn’t even the most shocking moment of deposition. No, it came later when the former president told Kaplan that he did not find her attractive enough to sexually assault.
According to the Politburo:
Whether the jury concludes Trump is responsible for the rape or not, it would be nice if Americans could jointly decide that he should at least not be elected president anymore.
Nothing to see here, just Ron DeSantis’ mission that continues to ruin transgender lives
Hey look, that’s the governor without a soul! According to NBC News:
Also Wednesday, Republicans in the Florida House of Representatives passed a DeSantis priority bill that bans universities from using state or federal funds for diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. The freest state, indeed.
