Trevor Noah says he doesn’t eat beef with Kanye West – explains he cares about his mental health

Now we all know Trevor Noah has become a repeated target for Kanye West when he decides to speak out in the media or on social media. In a recent recording of “The Daily Show“Trevor was asked by an audience member, why is he hanging out with Ye?

Trevor has made it clear that he doesn’t have sex with Ye, but he’s worried about his mental health. He say,

“I have never spoken to Kanye West, I am worried about Kanye West. If someone tells me or anyone that they have a mental health problem and they tell people that when they don’t take medication, they won’t be able to control themselves. And then people ignore it when the person is having a seizure and they haven’t taken their medication, and they put the person on and they bring them up. “

Trevor went on to share that his grandfather is bipolar, and that his family knows it’s their job to support him throughout the episodes.

“It would be weird if I went there, ‘Oh, my grandpa has another episode. I will go viral tonight! ‘ I think it’s a little bit weird,” he said.

As he continues to express his interest in Ye, Trevor has indicated that he grew up being a fan of his work. However, he wanted to express his concerns about Kanye’s mental health and how some people are choosing to ignore it. He say,

“I have no beef with someone who has expressed publicly that they are dealing with a mental health issue. I don’t have beef with that person. What I worry about is us as a society not coming together around humans and going, ‘Hey, maybe this isn’t the time to put a microphone in your face so you can say everything.’ If this is what you mean while on medication, that’s a different story. But since you told us that, I’m not going to sit there and say it. “
