Tesla removes home charging cables from cars in Australia

In July this year, Tesla made headlines by removing the mobile connector – also known as the UMC – from their new vehicles in Australia.

However, the company has reduced the cost of a UMC on its online store from $860 to $550.

Tesla has removed it from US market models In April of this year, CEO Elon Musk confirmed the move on Twitter.

In July this year, the Australian Government announced its intention to introduce new incentives for electric vehicles, including plug-in hybrids, delivering on promises made ahead of the election.

Instead of a direct subsidy, the so-called Electric Car Discount takes the form of tariff exemptions and side benefits that the Government intends to apply retroactively from 1 July.

In October this year, Queensland’s RACQ motor club said it expected prices to rise before falling.

The club said international factors and a spike in demand, rather than rampant cuts from service stations and other suppliers, were the cause, but added that profit margins Tight retail sales will likely lead to further spikes.

Toyota GR Corolla revealed: Australian launch in 2022 confirmed!

In April this year, Toyota revealed its answer to sports cars like the Hyundai i30 N, Volkswagen Golf R, Renault Megane RS and Honda Civic Type R.

The Toyota GR Corolla leans heavily on the smaller GR Yaris, which uses a powerful three-cylinder engine, a six-speed manual transmission, and variable four-wheel drive.

It is set to arrive in the first quarter of 2023.

Isuzu D-Max Summoned

A total of 7106 vehicles are affected between 2020 and 2021.

Ford F-150 officially arrives in Australia

In March this year, Ford announced it would launch a remanufactured right-drive F-150 pickup in Australia in 2023.

The F-150 will be remanufactured right-hand drive by RMA Automotive at a facility in Mickleham, Victoria.

Since then, Ford has detailed its endurance testing at local facilities.
