TIP Non-competitive prize applications available


Applications for two annual Jockey Club Mastering Program awards, the Master of the Year Award and the Young Rider of the Year, are now available online at tjctip.com. The application deadline is June 30, 2022.

The TIP Thoroughbred of the Year award recognizes a Thoroughbred who has excelled in a non-competitive profession, such as equine therapy or police work. The prize includes a $5,000 grant to a horse-related nonprofit or, if no horse-related organization exists, to an equine charity run by The Jockey Club choose. To apply for the Pure TIP Award of the Year, holders can apply at tjctip.com/About/TBNCA.

The TIP Young Driver of the Year Award recognizes young riders, 18 years of age or younger as of January 1, 2022, who own or lease a Thoroughbred for use in 4-H, Pony Club or other activities. other motion. The winner(s) will be determined through an essay contest with a prize pool of $5,000 that can be applied to the university of their choice or for their participation in a promotional event. their involvement with horses.
