I’ve been using the EF 50mm f/1.2L lens for several years, and while it offers really nice renderings with lots of character, it’s never particularly sharp at wide apertures and you can’t really Trust in autofocus. The newer RF version seems to have fixed those problems by a mile, providing even extended super sharp images in tandem with excellent autofocus, making it the type of lens that the Favorite wedding and portrait photographer.
