Things I fell in love with in May 2022
This is the first month I’ve put together a post of Things I’ve Tried and Loved Since I Posted spending freeze. Because I’m not actively buying late, I’ve had more space and time to write about some of the products I’ve given away. You’ll see more items labeled as gifts in today’s roundup, simply because there are fewer items I’ve purchased in my personal life to consider. Our gift product recommendation standards are the same as always, which means I keep going only recommend products I really love.
Below you’ll find a dress I just can’t stop wearing, a couple of books to read, a CBD product that’s new to me that has blown my mind, etc.
GUARD
Off-Road Cotton Crusher Cap (gift)
$36
Sun hats have always been a part of my summer outfit. I have fair skin like an Irishman and gave up tanning years ago. Now I’m spending more time weeding and maintain our garden, I need a hat that is breathable, wearable, and long-lasting. The terrain that has the highest quality parts is also stunning. I love the way this hat enough structure to fold up and down efficiently for different operations. It also has a cotton cord to fasten it to my head on windy days, which is my biggest problem with straw hats. They always fly away from me!
READ
Writers & Lovers by Lily King
$14
I’m not done yet This book but brought it with me to Napa. I love that it’s an easy read, easy to digest, and still feels like you’re having substance. As I read, I kept coming back to passages that made me feel like a woman and a writer. Reading about the author’s creative process taking place alongside everyday life is deeply inspirational to me at this point in my life. It has reminded me that inspiration happens in the most unexpected places; that we don’t always force ourselves to be creative, but we can be ready to create when we’re ready to release.
CALM
Molly J. CBD Gumdrops (donate)

I always approach trying a new CBD product with skepticism because I find the quality to be encompassing, the flavors and textures not always appealing, and often a lack of brand experience. Molly J., however, BLEW MY MIND. From their thoughtfulness to their educational tools to the effectiveness of their products to their stunning presentation, I savored every last drop of marshmallow from the box I was given and felt sad after experiencing it. test ended. 10/10 would recommend and I will buy their products as gifts for the special people in my life.

I searched for products that just protected and nourish my skin. While trying a line from Solara, this product especially stand out to me. It hydrates and refreshes the skin while protecting it from environmental aggressors like blue light and pollution. Given that most of my time is spent on computer screens, I really appreciate this. I highly recommend trying this brand. Some of their products, including this one, are now available at Target!
CLEANING
Floor Brush 2 Packs
$20
I know when we choose white grout for our kitchendining room, and the floor to maintain it will be part of my journey. These brushes came on the recommendation of our amazing cleaning team so we could keep up with the daily wear and tear. The grout goes from medium gray to bright white again with one coat of OxiClean, scrubbed with this brush. We plan to use this treatment quarterly and will use a second brush more often as stains emerge from daily spills and dog poop.
