Now it’s time for us to remind you that a recall isn’t always a bad thing! Yes, that means there was some fault in the process of your car becoming the car it is today, but it also means that the manufacturer has found the problem and is fixing it for free. Friend. On the other hand, no one likes to spend extra time in agency and deal with their car breaking down for an indefinite period of time. Also, not all recalls are of the same level of panic. Some of them, like Takata airbag recall, worthy of all your attention and panic. Meanwhile, some recalls are for fixing minor things like rearview camera working too longor in other words, not the five o’clock fire alarm.

After Ford, Tesla ranked second for most vehicles likely to be recalled with 3.76 million vehicles. The total number of recalls is much lower at just 20 recalls total – and it’s also fair to point out that a large number of Tesla’s recalls have been fixed with over-the-air updates – but Tesla has have some big one which caused the number to skyrocket. GMThe recall story for 2022 is similar to Tesla’s, in that the company has only 32 recalls, but the total number of vehicles potentially affected reaches 3.37 million units. Stellantis is right there, too, with a total of 38 recalls and 3.04 million cars potentially affected.
