Film has seen a pretty strong resurgence in the last few years, and after more than a century of production, the number of used cameras available right now can be a bit overwhelming. An important thing to consider before buying a film camera is its mount. If you only own a mirrorless camera and lenses, this won’t matter much, but if you own a library of DSLR lenses, chances are you can use at least some of them on film camera. For example, Canon’s EF mount was in use long before they started making DSLRs, which means there’s a wide range of Canon film cameras that can easily use EF lenses. For example, I bought the EOS 100 on eBay for $20 specifically because of its super-quiet shutter and it makes perfect use of all of my EF lenses. Watch the video for full summary information.
