Molly saw a dog stuck by the highway. The sensible woman admitted that everything she knew about approaching a strange dog was thrown out the window. She pulled over to the side of the road, opened the car door, then stepped forward and shoved him up. Her heart was with her, but fortunately the dog, later named Polo, posed no threat.
In fact, the dog showered Molly with thank you kisses! Molly knew that Polo, from the first time she laid eyes on him, was meant to be with her. But since Molly lives in Massachusetts and she rescued Polo in Alabama, she had to go through a month-long process to get him home.
In the meantime, Molly shared the story of rescuing Polo with the others, and they were horrified! Polo was a Pit Bull and they claimed because of his breed she should have left him on that highway, and his abandonment was part of natural selection. What’s wrong with these people?!
