The shoes everyone hates to go to restaurants
Based on how often we all go to restaurants every week, you would think what to wear them will be discussed more at present. Nordstrom Owned Personal Styling Service Trunk Club is doing its part to change that. This site recently published the results of a study it carried out on decide what to wear to dinner, and it’s important to note that what to wear to a restaurant is a significant source of stress.
The Trunk Club polled 2,000 Americans and found that 65% of those surveyed said they were overwhelmed when it came to deciding what to wear to dinner. They even said it was more stressful than making an actual restaurant reservation, and 41% shared that the pressure to look stylish at the restaurant is real. And believe it or not, one in four people admit to completely skipping out because of the predicament of their outfits.
All that is contained in survey (which you should definitely check out — it’s pretty interesting), the biggest consensus is on what shoes people refuse to go to restaurants: About 72% will never wear flip-flops or restaurant slippers. Now, exactly types Flip-flops and sandals are not specified, but we guess it refers to very casual rubbers best suited for the beach or pool, as opposed to a lot of luxury, high sandals on the market.
