The policeman jumped to his death to escape the speeding youth in the BMW

Heartbreaking footage has been released of a police officer in the US state of Virginia jumping off to avoid losing control in 2018 CAR M3 being driven “at high speed”.

Around noon on May 1, the policeman towed a 2012 bmw750i as part of a regular traffic stop. Dash-cam video posted by the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Department shows the officer talking to the driver of the sedan.

On the other side of the road, a 2017 BMW M3 can be seen moving at high speed around the bend before losing control and sliding through the divider toward oncoming traffic.

The 17-year-old driver – carrying two passengers – crashed into the 750i and appeared to grip the officer before hitting the police patrol car.

Thanks to his quick reflexes, the officer was able to better avoid the direct hit of the M3 and was able to walk away.

All parties involved suffered only minor injuries and were treated.

“The BMW turned around, crossed the median, hit a community member’s car and then the officer’s car. The officer was beaten and nearly died,” the Fairfax County Superintendent said in a press release.

“The adult driver in a BMW 750 Series stopped in traffic was taken to hospital with minor injuries not considered life-threatening and was subsequently discharged.

“The policeman suffered minor injuries. The juvenile driver of the BMW M3 and two passengers suffered minor injuries. The juvenile has been charged with reckless driving.”

The Fairfax County Sheriff’s Department posted the experience on social media to encourage parents to talk to their teenage children about reckless driving and the effects it has. cause harm to others on the road.
