The Pokémon Company today revealed the next set of cards in Scarlet and Violet The TCG collection and this one is all about the Pokédex that started it all.
‘Scarlet & Violet – 151’ (as the name suggests) will feature all 151 original Pokémon from the Kanto region, reimagined in the Pladean art style. The tokens themselves are not set to be released until September 22but the ‘151 to 151’ social media campaign has already begun so we can begin to envision what the expansion will have in store.

The upcoming set will feature cards in Pokédex order, some with different illustration styles with varying rarity. We understand there will be 12 ex cards to get (Venusaur ex, Charizard ex, Blastoise ex and Mew ex are specifically mentioned) along with the following notable additions:
- 16 rare illustrations and seven special illustrations of rare Pokémon and Helpers cards
- 16 Pokémon and Supporter cards fully engraved with ultra-rare art
- Three super rare gold engraved cards
Cards from the Scarlet & Violet – 151 expansion will be available in a number of different boxes and collections, with the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box now available for pre-order from Pokémon Center Online Store.
The expansion will also be found in a series of 10 mini-boxes that include two booster packs, an energy symbol coin and a Pokémon matching art card on the box.
