When Square Enix came out Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin? It didn’t interest me at all. Although Team Ninja’s involvement piqued my curiosity, the first trailer left me feeling warm. Now, my opinion has completely changed about the game after seeing a clip on Twitter of the second demo released during Tokyo Game Show 2021.
The moment Jack Garland broke out of the scene along with what was probably going to be a completely corny nu-metal song got me super excited about the game. I love camping, and I like things that take themselves seriously enough to be liked. I think, if there is, Stranger of Paradise will be just that. So I’m looking forward to the game being released! – Kazuma
I have high hopes for Triangle Strategy. The demo is pretty solid! And Square Enix is doing its thing, using the feedback from there to make the final game even better. I’m longing for something else Final Fantasy Tactics-style title. Maybe this will be it? (But it’s also possible if Square Enix wants to shade a Final Fantasy Tactics Advance collection on Switch next year, I won’t complain!) – Jenny
Mechanical strategy RPGs seem to have had a resurgence in recent years. We have got SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays released in 2019, and Super robot war 30 Released in October of last year. Both titles are available worldwide on PC. But now my vision is moving towards Relays, will be available globally on PS5 and PS4 next February. I’m curious to see how God Wars The group converts from a Japanese folklore story to space machine combat. And I hope it can be noticed before Triangle Strategy completely buried the contest in March. – Kite
I’ve got quite a few games curated in the 2022 window to highlight, like Elden Ring or recently published Dune: Spice Wars or Homeworld 3, but then Cygames has to go and blow everything in that queue out of the water by confirming Granblue Fantasy: Link Again in the same year.
As far as the writing and the mood went, Granblue easily one of the best recent JRPGs that a lot of people outside of Japan and the overseas otaku team haven’t played yet, despite having one of the best localizations in the field and stunning art. GBVS opened cracks in that wall, but I hope Link back (along with official support for overseas account creation in Granblue appropriate) would be what it takes to get it out there. – Josh
There are a lot of interesting games coming out in 2022, but if I’m honest, I’ve only got my eye on one. Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp is the return of one of my favorite franchises after so long, and I’ve enjoyed revisiting the recent GBA originals, the series needed a larger audience to find life. new life. A Switch entry would certainly do the trick. – Graham
