Announcement SNK that the SNK Online Store will close in 2022. The last day to create an account or make a purchase will be May 31, 2022 at 1 a.m. PT / 4 a.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT CET / 5pm JST. All services will close at the same time on June 17, 2022. SNK did not note how they might handle the resumption of exclusive sales.
SNK Online Shop sells a wide variety of merchandise tied to some of its biggest brands. For example, the store currently sells items based on Fatal Fury, The King of Fighters, Metal Slugand Samurai Shodown. It will also carry exclusive products, although that category is empty at the moment. Among the items that people can get will be acrylic stands of characters, plush toys, clothes, books and games.
It’s been too long since SNK announced new pre-orders for storefronts. In end of March 2022it has opened pre-orders for Metal Slug X short for acrylic Eri, Fio, Marcoand Karma. Those are priced at 1,222 yen (~$10) each and are expected to ship in May 2022. Other recent additions include Samurai Shodown VI acrylic stand, KOF NeoGeo merchandise and acrylic smartphone holder.
People can order at SNK Online Shop until May 31, 2022, and the store will close on June 17, 2022.
