The men aspire to drop 100 thousand dollars in the Women’s Union. . . Following the photos on FACEBOOK !!
Nyla Murrell-French, a 22-year-old female inmate serving seven years in prison at an adult detention center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is going viral – and now she’s RICH, MTO News has reported.
Nyla is serving a prison sentence for stabbing a woman in the neck during a fight at a gas station in 2018.
Nyla – who visited her Facebook page while in prison – posted a new photo to the page over the weekend and she went viral.
Then it happened. MTO News learned that Nyla’s friend posted a link to an online payment service that allows people to send money to her trustee.
The friend told MTO News, “It all blew up. The men sent her about $100,000. It was so much that the prison flagged her account.”
According to the Minnesota Department of Corrections, state inmates are limited by the NOIT on the amount of commissions they can receive. Here’s what the site arranges:
Detainees do not need money for their day-to-day needs while in custody. Each facility provides all necessary food, clothing, and medical care. However, there may be some personal care items and toiletries that they may want to purchase separately. In addition, they can purchase snacks and items such as TVs, radios, and hotpots at the facility’s canteen.
The cost of the detention surcharge and, if any, the compensation surcharge will be deducted from the amount received.
It is unclear when the money will be available to Nyla.
