The main Kuro no Kiseki II update makes Fie and Zin playable


Nihon Falcom has released a big free update Because Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin that adds Fie “Sylphid” Claussell and Zin “The Immovable” Vathek as playable characters. The Version 1.10 update also adds more ultimate game content and an improved quality of life skip option.

Fie and Zin are recurring series characters who debuted in Cold Steel Trail and Trail in the sky series. Both of them also appear in Kuro no Kiseki when they visited Calvard to strengthen the Bracer Guild’s branch in the republic. However, Falcom marked their arrival as supporting characterthat means they are not on the main party list.

The promotion of Fie and Zin for playable characters means Kuro no Kiseki II players can include both in the main party on more occasions. This update also adds new classes to the Märchengarten dungeon, starting at the 10th layer. The segment will also feature new story plots starring both Fie and Zin.

In addition to the aforementioned additions, this update allows players to upgrade the most powerful weapon for each character far beyond the original limit. It also has a new option to let them skip EX Chain cutscenes.

Version 1.10 is also the first version Kuro no Kiseki II Updated to add new content. Falcom has released some Smaller update between this version and the game that launched in Japan on September 29, 2022. However, those updates are mainly focused on bug fixes.
