The ‘fire-breathing demon’ dog is looking for his third permanent home

Often, when creating an online listing for a dog that an animal shelter would like to adopt, they will draw up a long list of appealing attributes. But when a New York-based animal shelter harnessed the power of social media to adopt a “colorful character,” they made a brutally honest assessment.

And the result is both useful for a future family and highly entertaining for dog lovers.

At a glance, Ralphie is an adorable, young and extremely popular French Bulldog. After all, he was a handsome man, weighing 26 pounds. But Niagara SPCA staff were pretty clear when they posted Facebook that potential adopters should “at their own risk”.

Ralphie may look pretty innocent, but he’s actually “a terror in a slightly small package.

Instead of painting Ralphie’s madness, Niagara SPCA explained that he would be an extremely likable, and quite frankly, a full-fledged fool. But, adorable clowns also deserve forever homes! Besides, I bet the right family would find his quirks incredibly endearing.

Ralphie’s history involves two previous owners. In his first home, his family allows Ralphie to be the boss, and their relationship abruptly ends. When he arrived at his second home, he was arguably “a little too much” for his older, furry brother, and Ralphie was returned.

“What they’re really saying is: Ralphie is a fire-breathing demon and will eat our dog, but hey, he only weighs 26 lbs,” said the Facebook post about Ralphie’s owner history. .

But by his behavior, it was clear that Ralphie needed someone very patient with a firmer hand who could keep him in the ranks. If not, he will run rooster.

If you want to adopt Ralphie, you must have:

  • A house without children or other animals
  • An extreme patience, and a calm, stern hand
  • Has a good sense of humor and is less attached to personal items, as this little mischief is bound to bite, break or steal some of your stuff
  • A deep desire to become a dog trainer or take it to a proper training
