Mona and Max, two cubs, were bought by a man from the zoo and kept in his living room. He doesn’t care about his young children playing dangerously with their cubs. Innocent children cannot know their own power and they are not responsible if anything happens. It was a terrible situation but thankfully FOUR PAWS International intervened.
The cubs are kept in separate small cages in the man’s house. When the rescuers arrived and saw the condition of the cubs, their hearts were broken. They were fed dry dog food and were markedly underweight. Poor babies desperately need help – and thankfully, help has finally arrived!
The cubs were placed together for the first time in a large crate. They nuzzled each other. It’s very heartwarming. They never had a chance to really bond. The cubs snuggled up to each other and slept soundly.
What comes next is unbelievable! In their quest to rescue their cubs, beautiful creatures bring together two hostile nations to bring the lions back to their permanent home. All we can say is: WOW! Wait until you see the grown-up kids. Thank you, FOUR PAWS, you are amazing!
