The 5-minute dog from Euthanasia hugs his determined rescuers
Many southern states are overcrowded with dogs because there aren’t enough breed dogs and hunting dogs. And sadly, that leads many dog shelters to eat meat, thinking it’s the only solution. But it is not the fault of these poor dogs that humans are not responsible! So they don’t deserve to continue to die in this cruel way.
A dog named Robin was just five minutes away from dying when he was rescued. And when he realized he was safe, he had the cutest reaction! He hugged the vet during his check-up as a thank you for giving him a second chance at life.
Looking for love
Robin is found lost and quickly taken to a murder shelter. Since he had a leg injury, they didn’t even give him a fighting chance. The poor dog was set to die almost instantly. In fact, he’s only a few minutes away from being able to be taken down when some kind souls hurry to save the day.
Robin’s rescuers brought him there Veterinary farm, where they took a closer look at his injuries. They put him underneath so they could take a detailed X-ray of him and take a closer look at some of the bumps on his body. The vets quickly discovered that his leg looked perfectly fine on the X-ray. It was only bruised, not broken! While Robin was at his disposal, the vets also neutralized him.
But the best part of Robin’s vet visit was his reaction to it all. Instead of acting shy and scared, he actually calmed down a bit. He knew he was in good hands.
Robin says thank you
During her check-up, Robin thanked the vet in the best possible way. As she was explaining his procedures in a video, the puppy leaned against her and gave her the sweetest hugs. It was as if he knew she was helping to free him from a deadly situation. And after visiting the vet, he was feeling better than ever!
One of the vets said: “He really hasn’t shown any signs of lethargy since we picked him up from the shelter. “So we are pleased to announce that he is now healthy and ready to move to a new home.”
Robin had a rough start to life, but now he’s not minutes away from death. Veterinarians suspect that he is young, so with a family forever, he will have a long and happy life. It’s heartwarming to know that there are so many people willing to fight for dogs like him.
