Taiwan’s Starlux Airlines will start flying to the US in April
A new airline plans to launch in North America this spring.
Starlux Airlines, an airline based in Taiwan, will begin nonstop flights between Los Angeles and Taipei, Taiwan, on April 26, according to the news agency. Taiwan Spotlight.
Los Angeles is also the first destination in the Starlux network outside of Asia. The airline has operated routes to Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

Starlux originally planned to operate flights between Taipei and Los Angeles on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. In June, the airline plans to increase the daily schedule for flights between the two cities, according to Focus Taiwan.
Tickets for flights between Los Angeles and Taipei will go on sale on February 14, and the airline will operate all flights between Los Angeles and Taipei using Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

Starlux is also expected to launch flights between Taipei and San Francisco later this year and is likely to seek out more destinations in the eastern United States, according to Focus Taiwan.
