Tailor Courtney seen at the bar after her bloody appearance in the home where Christian Obumseli was stabbed to death
It’s been a week since the fatal stabbing of 27-year-old Christian Toby Obumseli. The past few days have raised questions about his past use of social media, with footage of his girlfriend Courtney Tailor covered in blood and not reality response from Miami Police regarding this case. Now, a video circulating has provided details of Courtney’s recent whereabouts – and she’s not sitting in a cell or a mental hospital.
Courtney visits a bar
The video ends with a length of about 30 seconds. But it was enough time to see Courtney sitting at a bar in a gray suit, army gray trousers, jean jacket and beige cap. Her father was also present. Based on TMZ, a woman took the video on Friday night. The woman discovered Courtney inside the lobby of the Grand Beach hotel in Miami – about 13 kilometers from where Christian was stabbed on April 3.
At the beginning of the video, Courtney is seen pulling her standing father’s arm as she turns away from the camera. The woman who was filming was heard exchanging words with both the influencer and her father. It seems they asked her to stop recording, but the woman refused. Instead, she said “yes, you should go because you just killed your boyfriend” when Courtney and her father started walking away.
Courtney’s attorney declares self defense
TMZ confirmed Frank Prieto as Courtney’s attorney, who also confirmed Courtney was at the bar with her father. However, the lawyer insisted the public got the story wrong.
“It is unfortunate that a member of the public, completely ignorant of the circumstances and events surrounding Mr. Obumseli’s death, had the opportunity to harass the Clenney family during the time they were trying to assist. support Courtney,” said Frank TMZ.
And Courtney’s attorney didn’t stop there. He also accused Christian of being responsible for the “physical, emotional and mental abuse” of Courtney. Frank even suggested Courtney might be a “victim of human trafficking.”
Courtney’s story appears to be that Christian entered her apartment without permission several times before he was fatally stabbed last Sunday. However, Christian’s friends have told the outlet as CBS4 Miami Courtney and Christian shared an apartment at One Paraiso.
“Courtney acted in self-defence; The investigation by both the Miami City Police Department and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office will conclude the same,” Courtney’s attorney said. “With that said, we will be asking the informed public to observe the family’s privacy at this time.”
Public allegation of murder
But despite these claims by Courtney and her attorneys, the public consumed a different theory. Many people, including Courtney and Christian’s friends, have accused the social media influencer of killing Christian. However, the police have Not named her a suspect. There are no updates provided by Miami authorities. This remained the case, even after viral footage appeared to depict Courtney drenched in what is believed to be Christian’s blood. Her face, arms, chest, stomach, and top half of her sweatpants were all covered in blood.
As previously reported, Miami police responded to a domestic dispute call on April 3. When they arrived, they found Christian “with an obvious knife wound.” After paramedics took Christian to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, he died of his injuries.
At the time, reports said a woman was detained at the scene, taken for questioning, but later said to have threatened to kill herself. At that point, she was placed in “mental custody” for an alleged mental health assessment.
Now, days later, it seems Courtney is a free woman. The Miami Police Department is silent. And fees? Couldn’t find them anywhere.
This is an evolving story.
