Empire star Terrence Howard says we must all respect the jury’s decision in Jussie Smollet’s hate crime hoax trial.
“Interestingly, it’s an uncomfortable question because anyone who knows about the show or my relationship with Jussie will know that Jussie, for six years, was my son. He was a boy. I had the hardest time on that show. The character world goes further. So you get very close to the individuals you struggle with the most. Which character do you have the most difficulty with?” , he said on the radio show Mark My Words.

He continued: “They judged him and found him guilty, twelve of them judging from a completely unbiased position… You have to respect that,” Howard said.
Jussie’s team has said they plan to appeal the verdict. The actor said that he was innocent and did not carry out the racist attack to get a raise.
