T-Pain shares email used by scammers to charge him $300 for fake music contract

Listen, people here are getting creative about how they collect their coins! With a pandemic and little desire to work these days, told Kim K, scammers are getting further and further away. T-Pain recently encountered one such scammer who was using his good name to make money and wished them luck. Apparently, someone offered T-Pain a music contract for $300.

“The boys out here act UP!! GAAAAAHHHDAAAAAMN! If you receive this email, please don’t be stupid,” T-Pain wrote in an Instagram caption. “And if you already love it… All know that it’s not me. And broski, who sent that… son. Calm down, buddy. “Hi, my name is T-Pain” head a * s chill bro “

T-Pain’s caption is related to an email screenshot he also shared. The fake offer begins with a blunt “hello, my name is T-pain.” It then crystallized that T-Pain “handles all business proposals and requests for NAPPY BOY ENTERTAINMENT as EVP & head of A&R.”

Next, the email gives the reader a compliment by letting them know “a&r looked at it all” [their] music content” and that they have “potential” to advance in their career. Recommendations aren’t everything – to say the least.

And what is The Catcher?

“Nappy Boy Entertainment Label would like to offer you a marketing/distribution publishing contract. We offer exceptional services with our agreement, such as from graphic design to professional documentation. This will help improve your overall brand value when working with a prominent international brand,” the email said.

And after nice gifts and presentation, our dear scammer has set up a slight push towards this discriminating deal with T-Pain.

“There will be a small fee of $300 for this to happen, which would indicate the offer was unsolicited. We are based in Tallahassee, Florida if you make the deal your deposit fee will be refunded”, the scam email said.

“If you are interested, please notify us now so we can proceed and we will process other important information and payment methods for you,” the email said.

Chile, the conspiracy just keeps getting better – keep an eye out for Roomies!
