Surprise: Trump Is Already Selling Mug Shot Merch


As you’ve undoubtedly heard by now, Donald Trump had his mug shot taken at an Atlanta jail on Thursday night, after turning himself in on charges of trying to overturn the election in Georgia. And while most people who’ve gone through similar experiences would probably prefer to never speak of them again, Trump is obviously not most people. Which is why within hours of Trump being booked, his campaign had slapped his mug shot on all manner of merch and was hawking it for cash.

Yes, the Trump campaign wasted no time creating a line of goods featuring the ex-president’s glowering face and the phrase “NEVER SURRENDER” (even though Trump literally did surrender). Products for sale at this time include T-shirts ($34), bumper stickers ($12 for a set of two), mugs ($25), and beer koozies ($12 for a pair). In his first post on X since being suspended from it when it was known as Twitter, Trump shared his mug shot (and his favorite claim, “ELECTION INTERFERENCE”) with a link to his website…

…where people who chose to click are told: “Today, at the notoriously violent jail in Fulton County, Georgia, I was ARRESTED despite having committed NO CRIME. The American people know what’s going on. What has taken place is a travesty of justice and ELECTION INTERFERENCE. The Left wants to intimidate YOU out of voting for a political outsider who puts the American people FIRST. But today, I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA. If you are doing poorly due to the sinister people in control of our country right now, don’t even think about donating!
