Nothing compares to the puppy stage. Puppies are not only incredibly adorable, but they also have a knack for getting our attention all the time. Their abundant energy, endless curiosity, and desire to chew have put them in a situation that deserves to be scolded.
That’s exactly what started to happen for a tiny puppy that might have been chewing on something, but his brother intervened and stopped the admonition.
A video of a big brother stepping in to protect his puppy is going viral online. The viral video caused such a stir that it was even featured on Good Morning America! The short clip begins with a close-up shot of a chewing pad for a puppy. The cameraman asked, “Who did this right here?” and then move on to two possible culprits that are puppies.
First, he points to the older of the pups and asks, “You?” Then, while pointing, he accused the little puppy sitting on the left. “Or you? Did you do it? But as soon as he started saying, “You suck,” the adorable dog on the right jumped up and pushed his hand down. He even interrupted it with a bark, some whimpering sounds and a growl.
It was almost as if he was saying, “He’s just a puppy! He still hasn’t mastered the ropes.” In the background, you can also hear a bit of laughter. So it’s clear that whoever was in the room was amused by the older dog’s antics. It made us wonder if this was unexpected behavior or a role their dog has taken on since they adopted the tiny puppy.
It was also clear from the cameraman’s tone that he wasn’t really angry. So seeing an older sibling, the guard step in and protect the dog is even more endearing. Even a playful tone provokes a “fatherly” reaction.
Social media users on the internet agree that this is a sweet moment between siblings. There are many comments on the video expressing similar sentiments.
